Hamas confirms its political and military leader Yahya Sinwar has been killed by Israel, 24 hours after IDF forces announced his death in the southern Gaza city of Rafah. In a defiant video speech, an official for the Iranian backed militant group said the death would not mean the release of Israeli hostages, unless IDF withdraw from the strip.
Italy’s prime minister arrives in Lebanon, the first international leader to visit since Israel’s incursion into the country at the start of the month.
