
Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko addressed the National Assembly this Friday to present the government’s general policy. Sonko outlined key reforms such as tackling unemployment and migration, guided by the 2050 vision which now serves as the executive’s roadmap for public policy in the country. He also said that his government would submit legislation to repeal the controversial law granting former president Macky Sall amnesty for three years of political violence that led to dozens of deaths.
