Tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians are continuing to make the long journey home to Northern Gaza. They’re bracing for what awaits them there after 15 months of brutal bombardment and fighting. 70 per cent of buildings in the enclave are destroyed or badly damaged, and the north was hardest hit. But returnees say a home in ruins is better the camps they’ve been sheltering in.
