Bathing has resumed at the Maha Kumbh Mela festival in India, after a stampede took place at around 1-2am this morning, reportedly killing dozens of people. Prime Minister Modi has offered his condolonces to those lost in the incident, their loved ones and wished those injured a speedy recovery. The bathing day is one of the most auspicious days on the Hindu calendar, with tens of millions of people flocking every 12 years to attend the event.
